Quick Family fun weekend

This past weekend I got to go home for a couple of days. One of my younger brothers graduated, so I left my family home and went to spend time in Idaho. My loving husband was so kind to stay home and "party" with the kids. So I flew in on Thursday and came home on Sunday and party every possible minute. It was so fun to be with my family. All 9 kids got to go home and be together. We so know how to party and my poor parents were ready for all of us to go home after the weekend!! Oh she is going to loose it when we all come home for a week in July!! This was just a test run for the summer!! So here are some highlights of our fun weekend.

We went on a 4-wheeler ride up in the mountains. I hadn't been on a ride in forever. So I drove like a mom...yes I drove with caution and slowly. It was so beautiful up in the mountains. I forgot how great the mountains are at home.

This was right before graduation. I have the best family ever. I love that we finally got a good picture!! When we all get together we have so much fun and we are out of control. We know how to party that is for sure. We had a great night together at graduation.

This is after graduation. We are glad that its over and that He finally graduated!!! We are so proud of our brother. I was so glad that we all got to be there for this great occasion.

It looks like this pictures is blurry but its not. Its snow!!! Yes I brought shorts and flip flops and it snows!!! So luckily my younger brother had clothes for me to borrow. I had to use their shoes and their jacket. Nothing like looking white trash when you go home, but luckily I didn't know very many people that saw me dressed like that!!
Thanks ma and pa for putting up with us and letting us keep you awake every night so late!! The first night I got there we stayed up until 3:30. As my brother was playing his trumpet I was really wishing that my parents wouldn't have let him take band when he was younger. Every night it was around 1 or later when we went to bed. So from our fun weekend I am totally beat!!
Hopefully I will recover before we go back up there in July. We're excited to go home for a couple of weeks. We always have way to much fun together!! Thanks family for the fun weekend and thanks Ty for taking care of the kids for me. You're all the best!!

Weekend full of fun!

This weekend we had Ty's parents in town. It was a lot of fun to see them. The kids loved playing with them. They came to see our oldest's dance performance. She did such a good job, even though it was so hot!! It was an outside performance. She looked 10 years older with her makeup and her uniform on. I was so proud of her. she was on beat just like we had worked on and tried so hard to remember everything that I worked on with her at home!! I do believe I will have a dancer in my family!!! Which yes I love....

Here is our beautiful dancer with her proud parents!!!

After the performance there was bungie jumping and the girls wanted to do it. I thought our youngest would freak out but she loved it and wanted to do it two times!!! When did she get so big?! All of a sudden she is starting to be so brave.

This is her jump after her performance. She tried doing flips but could only get over one time!

Since the grandparents had to leave us and go home.... ( if it was up to us and our kids they would stay with us forever, we love our families), we celebrated our youngest daughters b-day a little early. She was so excited to get a boise state cheerleading outfit! She loves her cheer skirt and does a cheer for my youngest brother Colt!! Go Colt!!! She wore it the rest of the night after she got it and then all today she wore it too!! She was kind enough to let her sister wear it for about 15 min!! That was about all she could handle!

Heres all of us after a fun weekend together. We went to the temple to walk around and see all the beautiful flowers. Our temple is surrounded by trees and more trees which makes it gorgeous. We had a great time with our parents and are so glad they came to see us. It was way to short and we can't wait to go and spend some time with them this summer!!!

Parties parties

I haven't posted in awhile because we have been having parties like crazy here!! The first one started with our preschool having a mothers day Tea party. I will have to post pictures of that later, but it was so much fun. We dressed up and had a great time with our 3 year olds!!

This week we have had 2 parties. My oldest had a b-day. So we partied all weekend.

The first one we had with our neighbors. Which by the way we have the best neighbors ever. It just so happens that one of our neighbors b-day is the same day so we had a big party for both of them. We let the kids play and then we had cake and ice cream!

She wanted a butterfly cake so we found a couple samples and her sister and I went to town decorating it. It was fun and turned out pretty cute.

Her favorite gift was her PINK golf clubs. We didn't give them to her until right before she went to bed. She was so excited!! She has been practicing in the living room and outside. Her uncle loves golf and she is so excited to hit golf balls with her uncle colt!!!

We then had a b-day party with some of her friends. We had 10 girls here. We had a cupcake party and decorated cupcakes. Luckily my neighbor has all these cute cupcake things that I borrowed. The girls decorated their cupcakes with frosting, m&m's, skittles, sprinkles, jolly ranchers, and lots of other candy! That was the highlight of the party.

There is her cupcake cake that I made. It is a bundt cake pan that is so cool. It is in 2 pieces, the top of the cupcake and the bottom. It was fun to make. We had to have pink everything if you couldn't tell.

Here is the b-day girl in the aprons that I made for all the little girls. I got plain white aprons and then sewed the ribbon and and ironed on the cupcake then hand stitched around the cupcake. They turned out so cute!! I was glad when they were all done!!
After the party I was exhausted but was so glad that I had a party for her cause it was so much fun!!!
Happy birthday to my sweet girl. She is so much fun in our family and really is a good good girl.

Flowers Flowers everywhere!

We had a couple of nice days this week so we went out with some friends to enjoy the beautiful flowers that are in bloom. One day we went to the Rododendrun Garden. The flowers there were so gorgeous. The kids loved all the ducks and geese. We didn't really like it when a goose flapped his wings at us cause he was mad that we didn't give him food!

Heres little misses who had fun with her cute little friends! She is so lucky and has great friends here that are her age.

This is the best picture I could get of both of them... It wasn't worth my time to wait until I got the perfect one!! But at least I got one right!!

That week we also went to the Tulip Festival!! It was a sunny beautiful day! We didn't get to stay to long but it was long enough for the kids.

The flowers were so colorful and refreshing. Nothing better than a sunny day and seeing beautiful scenery. I was glad we made the drive to go see these fields! We had a great afternoon.

Here are a couple of girls that were there with us. We actually ran into a lot of our friends there because it was such a beautiful day none of us could pass it up. It made me excited for Summer... to finally have the sun out and doing fun things with friends!

Easter weekend

Heres a late post of Easter.

We had a great time together. On Friday we had a neighborhood party. We had an Easter Egg hunt and then had some treats afterwards. We used three of our neighbors yard to hide eggs and then we let the kids out to find a certain amount of eggs. They were all so excited to fill their baskets.

I had made some cupcakes that had grass and eggs on them! So we came inside and let the kids open their eggs up and the adults ate and chatted. We live in the best neighborhood and we love our neighbors!

Here are my kids on Easter. our boy doesn't really look like a boy with his long hair! Thats why he got a hair cut this week!

Our little misses is wearing a dress that my oldest got when Ty's brother got married! We had a great time after church watching a movie and being together as a family.

On Saturday we dyed eggs with some of our great friends. The kids hands were many different colors and loved coloring eggs. Yet they seem to not want to eat boiled eggs. I guess its just fun to color them and not eat them.

You can't have an easter egg hunt without bunny ears!! It was such a beautiful day for a hunt outside!

Since our trip we have been trying to get back to normal life. Here are some of the things we have done!! We have had a couple of nice days with good weather.

Here's our buddy riding his sisters scooter. He loves being outside and has learned to open the doors and run outside. Its time to get locks, many locks. His new favorite word is "ball" He has the neighbors trained to lift him up and let him shoot the ball at the hoop.

our girl is taking swimming lessons. She is scared to death of water and I was so proud of her for just getting in the pool without me!! She even stuck her face in the water!! She is loving it and can't wait to show her daddy and her sis how she can swim!!

So I didn't post all of our pictures from spring break. We got the chance to see Ty's sister too. This was our first trip to her house. The kids had so much fun.

Here is our buddy.. he was in heaven in their great backyard. he played basketball all afternoon.

Here is Ty's sisters little girl and little sis. Isn't she cute!! They have 2 kids the same age as my girls and they get a long so well. We can't wait to see them more this summer. It was a fun day and we wished we could have spent more time with them.

Spring Break fun

So here are some highlights of our trip....

Our little misses... loved the palm trees. She learned about them in school and couldn't get enough of all the trees. She had to have her uncle take a picture by them.

Here are the boys playing games at the indoor amusement park. The kids had a great time riding bumper cars, the merry-go-round, a little roller coaster, and playing games.

Granny wanted to have an Easter egg hunt since she doesn't get to do one with our kids. The eggs were filled with great things... money and toys. The girls loved getting cash! After counting their cash they got to go to Target and spend their $1.50!!

Here is all our family that got to go to the blessing of our new little niece. It was so fun having some of my family there. We partied like crazy and ate and ate which I'm sure we all gained 10 pds.

Here is the last picture of the 4 little princesses that were together. We were missing 3 other little girls from the family. All of the girls have so much fun together. We had so much fun and our break was great!!
We missed all of our other family members that weren't there. But can't wait until summer to have a big party!
Thanks to my bro and sis for letting us stay with them. We had so much fun and are glad we made the trip to spend time with my family. Ty and I are so lucky... Our famililes are the best ever!
