Birthday parties

The end of May and first of June is a crazy time for us.

I have 2 birthdays a week apart and that means 2 cakes, 2 parties, presents and lots of fun!!

So here is a couple of pictures of our fun!

Little Miss A wanted a rainbow cake. She saw this cake and wanted a party to be around this cake!! So we stayed up all night making the cake!

The birthday girl and the very tall leaning cake. One layer wasn't as firm as it was suppose to be and it made it tilt a little!! We were afraid it was going to tip over but it held on strong and made it look like a piece of art! it was a fun cake to make but not to cut and we have lots and lots of leftovers!!

Sisters opening presents! A was excited to give her present to her older sis!!

They play really well together and still love playing barbies, doing crafts and riding bikes!!

We had a fun party for T. It was design party. We made clothes for paper dolls. The girls had a great time making them and we didn't have time to make our fun glitter pens but there's always next time.

Happy Birthday to my girls who are getting so big!!! how do I have a 9 year old and a 6 year old!

Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to my Wonderful Mom and wonderful Mother-in law!

I have been touched by so many great women in my life.

My mom is wonderful! She has taught me so much. She got to come and see us this past week for a few days and it was so fun to have her here. Its always a sad day when family leaves.

Thanks mom for coming and visiting and helping.

I don't have a picture on this computer of my Mother-in law but she is also great. She is a wonderful mom and helped my husband be the great person that he is.

Here is my cute family. They love that I make them take pictures but... they will be thankful when they are older. They did lots of things to make today a special day for me.

I got some yummy pancakes in bed for breakfast, they sang some songs to me at church, made cute cards, and made me a delicious dinner. They also let me take a short nap.

I couldn't have asked for a better day!

A proud mama with all 4 kids! Its been 2 weeks with 4 kids and I haven't got crazy yet!

Each one of my kids makes me smile and I love that each one is so different and yet so alike and loving to me. I love being a Mom!(most days anyway)

Here is a picture of our Little buddy at 2 weeks. He is growing.... and I wish he would stay little and snuggly forever. He is so fun to hold and has been a good baby so far.

New Baby

Baby Mason

Our new baby made it here healthy! He scared us a little by almost coming 2 months early, but he waited and came a month early. He was a big baby for a month early.

6 lbs 11oz! Even though he was big he still had to do all the pre-term things in the hosptial. He also gets worn out really fast and sleeps most of the day and seems to wake up every 2 -3 hours to eat.

We are loving him and he is a sweet little one. We are so blessed to have him in our family. He loves to snuggle and be held and is patient with all the love his siblings give him.

The kids have loved singing to him at nighttime. We now have 2 boys 2 girls! Big brother can't wait for little brother to get big. He said he wants to wrestle with him and play basketball with him when he gets bigger!

Valentines Day

Valentines Day!

The girls LOVE that their Dad brings them flowers for Valentines Day. Anytime they get flowers they love it! It made their day.

We had a fun Valentines dinner. Heart meat loaf, pink mashed potatoes, heart jello, asparagus and a pink drink.

You can't have Valentines Day without frosting cookies! Heart shaped sugar cookies always taste so good!

January- birthday celebration

January we got to celebrate Tyler's b-day...

The kids frosted and poured sprinkles on the cake. They were so proud to show Tyler with he got home. Even with a full bottle of sprinkles it was still a great cake!!

Here is the family before opening the gifts. The kids wrapped the presents in a little box then in a bigger box then in another box. So it was all in one big box. They thought that was pretty fun!
We are always glad for a reason to have cake and ice cream together!! Happy B-day to a wonderful dad and husband who we love so much!

Christmas part 2

After we spent time with Ty's family we went to Driggs for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
It has been a long time since we were all home together for Christmas.
We loaded so many things into our Christmas Eve...
We rode the sleigh, played secret santa, acted out the nativity scene, opened presents, gave presents and enjoyed all 38 of us!! We had a great great time together, Like always!

Here are the girls with their matching pjs. these girls have way to much fun together. They played barbies, had fashion shows, dance shows, did crafts and just played!!! I wish they all lived closer together so we could have playdates and parties.... That is why when we go home they are together non stop!!
Here is all of us on Christmas Eve. At least half of us are looking at the camera!!! We must take a family picture every time we are together and its always out dated by the time we get together again!!!

We had a week full of lots and lots of snow. The kids couldn't get enough of it. These girls were on the sleds one day for about 2 hours. Luckily their dads were there so they were kind enough to drive the snowmobile and pull them on the sleds!

All the kids wanted to do was ride with Tyler. A couple of days buddy did take a little nap while riding through the snow! When I came to get him off he wouldn't get off so I had to drive and pull the other kids to give Tyler a break.

Here is some of the clan. We all loved the snow. Luckily we have lots of area to play in the snow and lots of fun things to do while we are outside! We had a couple of days of nice weather so we could go out and play!

This is the view we got as we sat on the sleigh with the horses. The great ruts that the horses made were great for the sleds unless you were an adult and then you couldn't hold on tight enough. We had some great laughs as we watched everyone eat it while getting pulled!

We had lots of friends and family come over to ride the sleigh with us. It is always a hit when we go home. We are so glad that Dad has some good horses and a great new sleigh that we can use. It is always a great memory we have from growing up. We used the horses to feed the cattle when we were younger. We would have to open the gates and then we would hold onto the back of the sleigh and get pulled while they fed the cows, then we would shut the gate when done! It was a good time to be with Grandpa and Dad.

It was a fun 2 week vacation and I was tired and really in need of sleep by the time we got home. It was fun to see both our families and it was a Christmas we won't forget!!!
Thanks family for another fun vacation and we are looking forward to another fun reunion this summer!!

Christmas

I'm finally updating!!! We had a great Christmas, we were able to go home for 2 weeks and see both our families.
The first week we spent with Tyler's family. His 2 brothers were able to be there with us too. The cousins had lots of fun together!!!
Here are some of the highlights of our fun week.

Since we weren't going to be there Christmas Day we opened up presents early. The kids all got cute Pj's from G&G.

Luckily we got to take some fun pictures with G&G Overall. Here is our family with them on the night we celebrated Christmas!

For our present to Grandma we surprised her with tickets to "The Rockettes" We had a girls afternoon out. It was a fun outing with us girls. It was a neat show. It was fun for both kids and us. I was nervous the girls would get a little bored but they loved it!!! They had to dress fancy for the show and Grandma supplied them with perfume, necklaces, and lip stick. Everything a girl needs to get fancy!!! Thanks to our husbands for watching the other kids so we could go out as girls!!

We made gingerbread houses together one night and the kids LOVED it!! We had each of the them make their own and they spent so much time on them and kept adding more and more candy!!! It was the first year that we didn't make one big one as a family. I think next year we will each make our own little house! It seemed to work perfect for us.

Here is Tay's finished product.

This is before he put any candy on his. His was covered with candy and he was one of the last ones to leave the table. The 2 boys that are 3 and 2 loved this project!!! It was fun to see how long they both sat there and kept adding more and more candy to their house.

We were lucky to get into Boise since it snowed the night we drove there. We hit the storm about an hour before we got into Boise. The next day the kids loved playing out in the snow. Grandpa went out with them and had a snowball fight which was the highlight of their day!!!

We also had a great White elephant gift party, went to McDonalds and played some fun games!! Thanks Overalls for a great time together!
