Christmas Eve Party

This is the first year we weren't at one of our families house. We were excited to start our own traditions but sad that we aren't with our families. So we decided to have a fancy dinner for Christmas Eve. My girls love to dress up and eat on our china so we had a fun dinner together then we had a little program. We read the Christmas story and then the girls sang Christmas songs to us. Then we got to open one gift which was..... Pj's. Today we found the best Pj's for Ty they are WII pj's and we couldn't resist. We had to get them!!! Merry Christmas to everyone hope that you all have a great day.

Here are the plates we used and my new favorite thing... the mitten on the plate,it is a silverware holder. I love them and think it was a great purchase!! Its all about making it pleasing to the eye right!!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!!

This week has been crazy!! We have been snowed in all week. Well maybe I should say school has been canceled all week. We loved the snow on Sunday when it first came and now its getting to be a little to much. You see if we were in Idaho it would be great but we are in Oregon where they don't believe in plowing the roads or putting de-icer down and then after the snow comes rain and it freezes!! Its beautiful!! Here is some of our highlights of our fun adventurous week!



















This is tonight. We have shoveled the drive way twice now and its still snowing. Church is still on but we'll see if they really cancel it tomorrow! I got out of the house tonight by walking to Trader joes for fun! It was nice to get some fresh air and get out of the hosue!

Here the two kids that take turns pulling each other all afternoon! They have had a great week together! We are so glad we have great neighbors.

These two have had great fun this week! They had a little nutcracker party. Which they had so much fun wearing their pricess nightgowns. We are sure glad they have each other so they can play and keep each other busy!!!

Hopefully we're almost done!!

Last week Ty got another surgery! We are hoping its the last one he has to get. He got the screws taken out of his foot. He is now back to wearing the boot for 6 more weeks. The bones need to grow back together!! Hopefully they grow back fast!!! The screws look a lot smaller in the picture.

Here are his scars. He only got 2 cuts this time. He foot is swollen but not as bad as it was before. Things are looking up! Its been a long 5 months. We are heading home for Christmas and he is off limits of riding anything that can tip over an off limits to ski. He made plans to ski but no luck this year. So I guess he gets to enjoy his time at home while I do a little skiing with my brothers. Hopefully I can keep up its been a couple of years.
