Parties parties

I haven't posted in awhile because we have been having parties like crazy here!! The first one started with our preschool having a mothers day Tea party. I will have to post pictures of that later, but it was so much fun. We dressed up and had a great time with our 3 year olds!!

This week we have had 2 parties. My oldest had a b-day. So we partied all weekend.

The first one we had with our neighbors. Which by the way we have the best neighbors ever. It just so happens that one of our neighbors b-day is the same day so we had a big party for both of them. We let the kids play and then we had cake and ice cream!

She wanted a butterfly cake so we found a couple samples and her sister and I went to town decorating it. It was fun and turned out pretty cute.

Her favorite gift was her PINK golf clubs. We didn't give them to her until right before she went to bed. She was so excited!! She has been practicing in the living room and outside. Her uncle loves golf and she is so excited to hit golf balls with her uncle colt!!!

We then had a b-day party with some of her friends. We had 10 girls here. We had a cupcake party and decorated cupcakes. Luckily my neighbor has all these cute cupcake things that I borrowed. The girls decorated their cupcakes with frosting, m&m's, skittles, sprinkles, jolly ranchers, and lots of other candy! That was the highlight of the party.

There is her cupcake cake that I made. It is a bundt cake pan that is so cool. It is in 2 pieces, the top of the cupcake and the bottom. It was fun to make. We had to have pink everything if you couldn't tell.

Here is the b-day girl in the aprons that I made for all the little girls. I got plain white aprons and then sewed the ribbon and and ironed on the cupcake then hand stitched around the cupcake. They turned out so cute!! I was glad when they were all done!!
After the party I was exhausted but was so glad that I had a party for her cause it was so much fun!!!
Happy birthday to my sweet girl. She is so much fun in our family and really is a good good girl.

Flowers Flowers everywhere!

We had a couple of nice days this week so we went out with some friends to enjoy the beautiful flowers that are in bloom. One day we went to the Rododendrun Garden. The flowers there were so gorgeous. The kids loved all the ducks and geese. We didn't really like it when a goose flapped his wings at us cause he was mad that we didn't give him food!

Heres little misses who had fun with her cute little friends! She is so lucky and has great friends here that are her age.

This is the best picture I could get of both of them... It wasn't worth my time to wait until I got the perfect one!! But at least I got one right!!

That week we also went to the Tulip Festival!! It was a sunny beautiful day! We didn't get to stay to long but it was long enough for the kids.

The flowers were so colorful and refreshing. Nothing better than a sunny day and seeing beautiful scenery. I was glad we made the drive to go see these fields! We had a great afternoon.

Here are a couple of girls that were there with us. We actually ran into a lot of our friends there because it was such a beautiful day none of us could pass it up. It made me excited for Summer... to finally have the sun out and doing fun things with friends!

Easter weekend

Heres a late post of Easter.

We had a great time together. On Friday we had a neighborhood party. We had an Easter Egg hunt and then had some treats afterwards. We used three of our neighbors yard to hide eggs and then we let the kids out to find a certain amount of eggs. They were all so excited to fill their baskets.

I had made some cupcakes that had grass and eggs on them! So we came inside and let the kids open their eggs up and the adults ate and chatted. We live in the best neighborhood and we love our neighbors!

Here are my kids on Easter. our boy doesn't really look like a boy with his long hair! Thats why he got a hair cut this week!

Our little misses is wearing a dress that my oldest got when Ty's brother got married! We had a great time after church watching a movie and being together as a family.

On Saturday we dyed eggs with some of our great friends. The kids hands were many different colors and loved coloring eggs. Yet they seem to not want to eat boiled eggs. I guess its just fun to color them and not eat them.

You can't have an easter egg hunt without bunny ears!! It was such a beautiful day for a hunt outside!

Since our trip we have been trying to get back to normal life. Here are some of the things we have done!! We have had a couple of nice days with good weather.

Here's our buddy riding his sisters scooter. He loves being outside and has learned to open the doors and run outside. Its time to get locks, many locks. His new favorite word is "ball" He has the neighbors trained to lift him up and let him shoot the ball at the hoop.

our girl is taking swimming lessons. She is scared to death of water and I was so proud of her for just getting in the pool without me!! She even stuck her face in the water!! She is loving it and can't wait to show her daddy and her sis how she can swim!!

So I didn't post all of our pictures from spring break. We got the chance to see Ty's sister too. This was our first trip to her house. The kids had so much fun.

Here is our buddy.. he was in heaven in their great backyard. he played basketball all afternoon.

Here is Ty's sisters little girl and little sis. Isn't she cute!! They have 2 kids the same age as my girls and they get a long so well. We can't wait to see them more this summer. It was a fun day and we wished we could have spent more time with them.

Spring Break fun

So here are some highlights of our trip....

Our little misses... loved the palm trees. She learned about them in school and couldn't get enough of all the trees. She had to have her uncle take a picture by them.

Here are the boys playing games at the indoor amusement park. The kids had a great time riding bumper cars, the merry-go-round, a little roller coaster, and playing games.

Granny wanted to have an Easter egg hunt since she doesn't get to do one with our kids. The eggs were filled with great things... money and toys. The girls loved getting cash! After counting their cash they got to go to Target and spend their $1.50!!

Here is all our family that got to go to the blessing of our new little niece. It was so fun having some of my family there. We partied like crazy and ate and ate which I'm sure we all gained 10 pds.

Here is the last picture of the 4 little princesses that were together. We were missing 3 other little girls from the family. All of the girls have so much fun together. We had so much fun and our break was great!!
We missed all of our other family members that weren't there. But can't wait until summer to have a big party!
Thanks to my bro and sis for letting us stay with them. We had so much fun and are glad we made the trip to spend time with my family. Ty and I are so lucky... Our famililes are the best ever!

And we're off

We are leaving for Spring Break.....
Sun here we come, maybe I'll come home with a tan but don't count on it!!
We get to go visit my brother and his family.
This is a picture of his sweet girls. We are excited to see them and be with them for a couple of days. My parents, brothers and sister is also coming. So it should be a big party. My kids are excited to spend time with their cousins!
Also... my heart this week has been stretched just a little. As I read a letter from my sweet sister in law. The thing that hit me the most was that we need to love your kids a litte more today. You never know what will happen. Give them one more kiss and sit and actually listen to them!
Here is the letter. It is so special yet heart breaking. Oh how I wish I could just take away her and my brothers pain. They mean the world to me and we are glad that we are blessed to go and spend time with them.

Trip home

Last weekend we made a quick trip home. Our nephew was blessed so the kids and I drove the 7 hours to see him. He is so cute and little!! The kids loved seeing their grandparents and cousins.
We made our regular trip to McDonalds for lunch and then took out G&G to Red Robin for dinner for their anniversary.
We did a little shopping and found these cute outfits for a great DEAL!! Only $4.50!! We were so excited.
Jackson was sick the whole time we were there with a cold and he also got a tooth, so he was extra cranky!! Luckily Taylee did a great job taking care of him while we were driving in the car!
We can't wait to go back and spend more than just one day with our grandparents. Hopefully we will get to see them again soon!! It was a fun and fast trip. Thanks for the fun time G&G!!
