A New Hobby

My girls new hobby is taking pictures. They think its so fun to walk around the house and take pictures of each other. Taylee is pretty good at it. Addie likes to cut our heads off sometimes! It does get to me a little when I go to take a picture and the card is all full and come to find out its full of random things like the stairs or the carpet or a toy!! At least they are being creative right!

Little Tike

Here is an update on our little guy, oh wait he isn't little anymore. He is going on 5 months. He is a good baby. As long as he has a full and i mean full belly. If he has 1 more ounce to fill up then he lets me know so I have to fix him a bottle. He loves to eat.. I'm sure he got that from his dad! He also loves his sisters. When they walk in the room and talk to him he smiles and talks to them. He thinks they are great. The boy loves to be held but also likes to be laid down when he's tired. He is a night owl and loves to stay up. I have started to try to get him on a schedule to go to bed around 8 but he wakes up around 9 and is up for the night and is fussy. If Tyler tries to go and put him back to bed by burping him or giving him his binki he cries harder. I think its because he knows Ty will give in and eventually take him downstairs and let him stay awake. I don't give in as easy. I make him stay in his room and go back to sleep!! Tyler thinks its great though because then he doesn't have to deal with him at night when he's fussy!!

It has been so much fun having a boy in the house. He is going to be an easy going kid... hopefully!!

Born to be outside!

Spring is finally here and the girls favorite thing to do is go outside to play. They can't wait until the other kids in the neighborhood get home from school so they can play together. Addie use to be so scared of dogs and now she loves them. Our neighbor has a poodle,Oliver, that she asks if she can walk everyday. This is my solution to the girls asking to get a dog.. We don't need one because we can just use our neighbors!!!
Since we moved she has grown up so much.. I guess she's not my little girl anymore. She is sleeping in a big bed, potty trained and for sure lets us know that she is 2 going on 15!!

Taylee has learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She is so proud of herself. The neighbor girl learned so she figured that she should be able to ride too. She learned quickly and now loves to ride her bike. She has a boy and a girl her age that live in the neighborhood and they love riding together. Spending money on a bike was well worth our money. She is going to ride it until its breaks!! We have loved living in a house and living in such a great great neighborhood. We were truly blessed to be able to find a house where we did!

For Christmas I broke down and went against all odds and bought a WII. Imagaine that! I was sick for a couple of days at how much I spent but was so excited to give it to my husband because he didn't think I was giving him anything but his normal $20 polo shirt. Which he has got for the past 7 Christmas' from me!!(I know he loves them so thats why I get them)

So the Girls are loving the WII. They both really like Guitar Hero as you can see. Tay has already passed the first level. She is really good. I love watching her as she knods her head to the beat of the music. Addie also loves to play it. She gets booed off the stage pretty fast but can play a couple of the notes. It is pretty funny. They love to play one game with their dad when he gets home from work. Its pretty sad that they know all these songs on Guitar Hero. I did have to tell them that they weren't aloud to play some of the people because they weren't dressed very appropriatly!! so now when they come on Addie says thats naughty huh mom!! So I'm trying to teach them to "live in the world but not be in the world!"

It has been a great family activity for us and the girls love it. Thanks Meg for finding it for me and thanks mom for talking me into get it! We love it. Even I love it and love to take my turn at playing it!

Dear Grandma

This week was my sweet grandma's b-day. She was a Valentines baby. I think she was born on that day because she was so sweet. She was one of the kindest and sweest ladies. Last night for FHE we had my cousins over and had a dinner that she always made, (roast, potatoes, gravy, green jello with pears, rolls, and the famous chocolate roll for dessert). Then after eating we sat down and told our favorite memories of our sweet grandma.

One of my cousins told of how grandma was a very intellegent woman. She went to college which wasn't what most women did at that time. She had a degree but she chose the best thing in the world to do. She chose to serve other to have a family. She did everything for my grandpa and never complained.

She was a great example of christ like love to our family. I hope that I can teach my children what kind of grandma they had so that the legacy can live with in our family!

We love you grandma and can't wait until we get to see you again someday!

The other day we were in Target looking for a b-day present for a friend. The parties theme is no other than.....High School Musical...... My 5 year old couldn't find the presnet she wanted. But my 2 year old found the perfect doll that sang. She pushed the button and started singing.. I want Fabulous.. that is my simple request all things Fabulous...

It was so funny.. Then a lady said, " How do you know the words to that song you're to young"

I told her she had an older sister!

She then said, " She should get an award for the youngest girl to know all the words to that song."

So needless to say you know what we've been listening to since Christmas time.. Aren't we all so glad that Santa brought us a Karaoke machine and High school musical Music.. Now thats the girls favorite thing to do.. is sing sing sing at the top of their lungs...

They have learned to be real performers and it is so cute!
