Part 2:Spring Break

While we were in Idaho we had a baby shower for my sister in law. It turned out great! My mom and I made a cute diaper cake. I've never made one before so with my moms help I knew we could do it! It was fun putting it all together and I think it turned out great!
Even if we did have to go 1 hour to get ribbon for it! My parents live out in the middle of no where so we drove to Rexburg for some pretty ribbon and it was so worth it just ask my dad!!

Here's my mama, sisters and sis's in laws that were at the shower. We are missing 2 of the sisters.

It was a lot of fun to be together with most of my family. We missed my 2 brothers and their families(well actually we really didn't miss Doug and Phil just their families)

If u can't tell who is who.... the two in the back with black on and the one in the front r my sisters, my two sis in laws are the ones on the top in white.

After a great shower we couldn't stop partying so ... Colt pulled out his new WII game...Just Dance. If you haven't played you really should. Its so funny. 4 people play against each other and copy a dancer on the TV to see who dances the best. though I don't think it really works. sorry to tell you Colt you aren't the best dancer in the family. My Daddy even got 1st. Tay loved playing this game. That's what she had Colt doing for 3 mornings while we were there!

First Part of a week of fun!

We just got back from our Spring break. It was a week full of fun! We got to see both my family and Ty's.
Here is a highlight of the first part of our trip.















Ty's sister was in town and we got to see her and her family. Our kids play so well together and they love spending time with her kids. They only got to see each other for 2 days and it wasn't enough!














It was such a beautiful weekend and we got to spend a lot of time outside and on the tramp and playground. Grandpa is such a good sport and loves playing with the kids!




















We got to roast hot dogs and marshmellows the kids loved it! Its always fun to have nice weather so that we can do this. We had a great weekend with some of our cousins and can't wait until summer to see them again.

While we were there we got to see my brothers new baby. He is so cute and little. All my kids loved him. He is so little and precious. Thanks Philly for letting us come and spend the morning with you!

We had a great time over the weekend. Tyler got to go with me for the weekend and then he flew home while I traveled up to my parents house. It was so fun seeing Tylers family.

The first part of our Spring Break was full of fun!

Finally after almost being in our home for 3 years I decided to paint. I couldn't find a color I liked and since paint looks so different from the sample to your wall I had to try 10 different samples. Finally I narrowed it down to 2 colors and I still couldn't decide. So my friend sent her husband to the rescue to help me decide which color. I love the final product!!!






















this was only one wall of samples. As you can tell I couldn't decide which one was perfect with the horrible lighting and the weird color flooring we have!


















Good bye to our creamsicle orange! I kind of miss the bright color. Especially when you don't see the sun very often its kind of nice to have some bright color!!

















Here is the main wall in the LR. The room has a cozy feeling to it now! The tan has a green tint to it but you can't really tell from the picture.

My fireplace looks lots better with this color of paint! Now I want to hire my brother in law to paint the rest of the house. Only if I can convince him to drive for 14 hours to do so!!!! I don't mind painting but its the mess that I don't like!!!! Maybe next month we will tackle our kitchen and go bright yellow for some sun!!!!

Fancy Girls

My girls love to dress fancy. Purses, makeup, rings, necklaces and of course shoes are a must!
Addie went to a fun party where they deocrated purses and got some fancy high heels. the girls of course love any new purse. Its all about the accessories! So I guess little brother was feeling left out cause this is what I found...

So little brother had to try on the shoes too, he had to see what all the fuss was about!!!

I would be worried but this kid is a true boy, full of energy and never never stops! He usually doesn't care to play with girl things but every once in awhile the girls get him to play with their stuff.

Happy Valentines Day!!

We had a great week celebrating Valentines Day! Lots of fun crafts and wearing pink and getting valentines ready for our friends, family and neighbors.





















Here the girls are sporting their Sunday outfit. Well Addie changed skirts! She had to put on her cheerleading skirt and add some jewelry!!






















Buddy got a new football shirt and thinks he needs to wear it everyday!! He loves any sport that has a ball in it!! He is true boy!
















We decorated cookies. There were lots and lots of toppings. The kids loaded the toppings on and then ended up not eating all of the cookie!! But it was fun. The kids love making cookies.

The two kids made cookies while we were waiting for Tay to come home from school. At first the pink apron was not cool but that's what happens when you have 2 older sisters. You get all their pink stuff!!! I think he ate more dough then making cookies!! At least he had fun and he was good while I made my cookies!! He is sporting his new cheesy smile!! It is so funny when he sees me pull the camera out this is what he does!!!!

Hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day! We had a great weekend together!

My great friend came over and watched the kids last night so Tyler and I could go on a date. The kids couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had with her. It was fun to go out to a movie and dinner. What a great Valentines present!

Happy B-day

I'm a little behind in posting but it was Ty's b-day in January. We had lots of fun parties!
The night of his b-day he got to come home early! Which means he got to eat dinner with us!
So after dinner the girls had made a treasure hunt for him. He had clues to go to a spot to find another clue.


































At the end of the search they made their own treasure chest with their mats and a blanket. It was filled with his treasure... his gifts!

















Happy Birthday Ty. He had a good day. He had lots of calls from our families.
My girls have him a paper that said... Good for one date with me!!! They keep asking when daddy will take them on a date! They thought it was a great present!

















He really wanted carrot cake so thats what he got. Carrot cake and cold stone ice cream!
We also got to go out with a couple of friends that weekend and had a great time. It was nice to just relax and get out of the house with good friends. We are lucky to have such great friends here.
