Hopefully we're almost done!!

Last week Ty got another surgery! We are hoping its the last one he has to get. He got the screws taken out of his foot. He is now back to wearing the boot for 6 more weeks. The bones need to grow back together!! Hopefully they grow back fast!!! The screws look a lot smaller in the picture.

Here are his scars. He only got 2 cuts this time. He foot is swollen but not as bad as it was before. Things are looking up! Its been a long 5 months. We are heading home for Christmas and he is off limits of riding anything that can tip over an off limits to ski. He made plans to ski but no luck this year. So I guess he gets to enjoy his time at home while I do a little skiing with my brothers. Hopefully I can keep up its been a couple of years.

Fall update

Here's the girls in their cute new hats that grandma sent them!!

Our side yard is covered in leaves. We started raking them up and then the rain came and came and came!! So we went out last week and got some up but they were a mess. Then it rained and rained and rained....... so I went out today and came in looking like I was playing in the mud. They were so dirty and nasty. The trees are beautiful here but if you don't pick up all the leaves they are a big old mess!! I have to keep reminding myself that it is all worth it because of the beauty!

I had to get one family picture in before the leaves went nasty. As I was taking them it started to right so it was perfect timing!!

We got the chance to go to HSM on ice. We went with my cousin and her cute little girl. It was so much fun the girls had a blast. They girls sang the song through all of it! They know every word. They use to call my brothers and sing them the songs.

Here's me and my girls enjoying the show!

Heres the dancer skating away!

Happy Happy Birthday!

A year ago our beautiful little boy was born into our family. He has been a joy in our home.He has made us smile from day one! He showed up 3 1/2 weeks early and threw all of our plans off track!

Here's me and my little buddy. He for sure is a mamas boy and I love his cute wet kisses!

This is the best picture I could get of the kids. They wouldn't be serious or look at me! Imagine that!

He loves his new ball or any ball at that! He has learned to throw it and sometimes it goes over his head and hits him on the head and he thinks that its funny!

I'm not sure who likes the toys better...... Poor kid doesn't get a chance to play with his toys cause his sisters like to play with them to much!!

Our cute neighbor gave him his first b-day present!! A paper airplane.... It was so cute when he came and gave it to him. He loves our neighbor boys and thinks they are great!
We didn't get to celebrate like I wanted to for his first b-day because we had some other plans that night!! The girls and I had a girls night out to see HSM on Ice(I'll post pictures later). So we sang to him and he opened his presents and then we left. We are hoping to have cake later on this weekend.
It has been a fun and enjoyable year. Its fun to have a boy in the home and see how different he is from my girls.
Happy Happy Birthday Buddy Boy!! We love you

Another pumkin patch

I had to post these pictures cause this farm so a blast! We didn't have school a couple of weeks ago so we went with our neighbors to another pumpkin patch . This was the first one that Tay got to go with us to. So she loved it. They had a straw maze which the kids loved and a hay ride which I took Addie and our neighbor boy on. They had some farm animals and the thing my kids loved the most was the horse ride... Which I told them I wouldn't pay $5 to have them ride a horse. Since I grew up on a farm I think its silly to pay that much money to ride a horse, but my kids love horses. Last summer I couldn't get Addie off the horse when we were at my parents house. My poor brother-in-law had to take her on a long ride and she was in heaven!! After they rode the horse it was well worth my money cause they were so happy and they said they couldn't wait to go to G&G's house to see the horses! I forget my kids are city kids!

Tay loving her horse ride

She loved this horse cause it looks like G&G's new horse

Add was so scared to go down the slide the first time and then she couldn't get enough!!

I love this last picture. Our little buddy was fine just playing in the pumpkins it kept him busy for a long time while the kids were in the hay maze. Plus he loves his sisters so much and his face lights up the minute he sees them. That's why we call him buddy cause he is their little buddy!!
We love this time of year and have loved going to all of the pumpkin patches. We missed some that we wanted to go to but maybe next year!! Its been a fun fall here at our house!

October fun!!

I love this time of year. When there are fresh apples and lots of pumpkins everywhere! We went to an apple farm with our preschool class. Luckily school was out that day so all the kids got to go. The girls had a great time drinking their apple cider and going in the straw maze!!

This was one of those days that we won't forget!! It was raining so hard and I didn't want to go but Tyler said we need to be "true Oregonians" so we put our rain gear on and off we went!! We went to the Giant pumpkin weighing contest. Its where they grow these huge pumpkins and see who's weighs the most. They were amazing!!

This was the highlight of the festival. They got two pumpkins and used a crane to lift it up and then pulled a rope to drop it on this car. The two pumpkins weighed 2000 pds!! They pulled the rope the first time and it didn't work. They tried for 15 min to get them to drop and they couldn't. While they were trying to fix the rope it started raining so hard right in our face... It wasn't very enjoyable!!! so we walked away to keep the kids happy and right as we did they dropped them and crushed the car!! At least we saw some of it right!

Here is one of the pumpkins that they were weighing. It was so huge!! We didn't stay long enough to see how much this one weighs.
We went to another patch this last weekend and hopefully will get to one more before the season ends. My kids have so much fun and I can't decide who likes them more me or them!!! Please fall don't leave us to fast!!

Yanni's visit

My friend, Yanni, came to visit me for the week. I had never seen her little girl. She had her about a week after we moved from DC. She also has never seen my baby so it was a well needed visit. Since she moved to California this summer we decided that we needed to get together.
The girls had so much fun playing together. I think Yanni and I had more fun than the kids did. We played outside a lot and I showed her around. We shopped way to much. She actually was successful and got me to buy some clothes. Way more than I think I've ever bought in my life!! We actually went to the mall 2 nights in a row. The first night we had way to much fun and stayed in the store until they finally had to kick us out! Tyler was so nice while we were out and put the kids to bed for us, he did it even with a broken foot!! What a great husband.
Here are a few pictures of our great week!

It was Yanni's b-day a couple of days before she came so we made her a b-day cake and sang to her.

Here is little Norah. She was so much fun to have in our home. She just wanted to be a big girl like my girls. She was so cute!! We are so glad we finally got to meet her

Here are the girls at the zoo. The kids loved the zoo and it was such a beautiful day. I'm glad Tay only had a half day of school so we got to take her with us.
Thanks Yanni for coming I can't wait until we get together again. It was such a sad day as we took her back the airport. We had way to much fun with you!!
