Water slide

When we were little my brothers and sisters use to get our old metal slide, put a hose of water on it and get our little wading pool and slide into it. We thought it was great fun. We had made our own water slide. We did get hurt a couple of times but we loved it. So I thought it would be fun to have the girls try it. The first couple of times they kept missing the pool but then they got it and couldn't stop trying it. They had so much fun.

Summer Events

Here are some fun things that we have done this summer!

My girls love to play outside so while riding bikes, playing basketball we also like to draw with chalk in our drive way! Taylee drew a rainbow and our neighbors house! It was fun and very colorful!

Here's our new favorite thing to do at nights. We like to go and eat Popsicles. Jackson is addicted to them. He got his first taste while at my moms in Idaho. Brit fed him one and has loved them ever since. He really owes you Brit for giving him one! He screams so loud whenever he sees his sisters eating them and he isn't.

The girls blew up our little swimming pool that we bought while back east and swam in it yesterday. they thought it was so much fun to splash around and get each other wet. Then I came up with a great idea to use the slide and swimming pool together.. I will show a video of that at the end!

We went to the Lake one day and the girls got to play in the water. We ended up going to the wrong part of the lake and it wasn't that clean and the girls weren't a huge fan but they did have fun. We went to the good lake park and they had a blast. they are to use to having nice pools so when Tay walked into the lake she freaked out cause there was something nasty on the bottom. I had to inform her that was mud!!! My poor girls are to use to living in the city.

Happy Anniversary MnD

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. It was my parents anniversary this weekend. I'm not sure how long they have been married. I'm sure if you ask them it seems like forever ago! (Well I guess it only feel like that on the days my dad hides from my mom so he doesn't have to work)
Actually I only put that cause I know my dad won't read this so we have to tease him about something!
So I thought I'd show some fun pictures of my parents and the great life that they have lived. We have such a great family and we owe it all to my wonderful parents. They taught us so much and are continuing to teach us. My dad has so much patience, I gues he would have to after raising 9 kids and living on a farm! He has so much love for others and is never thinking about himself. He is a high school teacher and does so much for the kids that he teaches. There isn't one kid that doesn't like my dad. He is a friend to the kids and remembers that school is suppose to be a place where the kids can have fun too. At his Old Old age he is still cracky us all up. He loves to answer the phone like he is half asleep or like he is someone else! Sorry dad but I always know its you!
Now for my mom... she is always thinking of others and never of herself. I remember she would always wear our old clothes and use her money to buy all of us kids new clothes when we needed them. She also has taught us so much.. just to name a few things... to love music, to love children, to love life, and to work hard. I am so thankful that I have a phone where I can call my mom whenever I need to. She finally got a cell phone which has been so nice! Sometimes though a phone call just doesn't work when you live so far away. Its always so nice to go home and see my parents.
Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. We love you and think you are the best. Thanks for all you do for us. You are great!! We hope you had a great day!

This is Dad when he was in High school in a play! Doesn't he look great!!Nice picture dad!

Here are the parents with most of the grandchildren. It is outdated already and it hasn't been a year yet!But this picture is priceless since it was the last picture of all the grandkids before little Daxton passed away. We sure are glad we got those cute pictures.

Here is all our family in October at Phils wedding. All of these crazy people just from my parents!

Here is a great picture of my mom n Dad. I love this picture it is so great! Oh words can't express how much I love my parents I think they are the best ever.

Tylers hurt foot

These pictures are before the surgery. His foot was pretty colorful and as you can tell he wasn't in to much pain sitting on the couch playing the wii with Tay.

These are pictures after the surgery. He didn't have that great of a recovery. He had to be in the hospital for a lot longer than we thought. His foot was really swollen so the dr didn't let him go home for a couple of days. This is the last day right before he got to come home. He has been pretty loaded on medicine but is feeling better each day.
Taylee did inform him that he needed to cut his toenails but he wasn't able to cut them since his foot hurt so bad so he went into surgery with long toenails.

Kunz reunion

We had another great reunion this year! It was full of great times.. We played basketball, rode 4-wheelers, rode bikes, played guitar hero, went to the parade, ate and got little sleep! here are a few pictures to highlight the fun.

Here are the girls getting ready to play the water games outside

Here is Doug and I at the end of our Chocolate roll fight. My mom warned us with our life if we got any on her new floor, since her house was just remodeled no one wanted to join in on the fun but Doug got me first so I had to get him back and then he really attacked me! It did taste good!

Phil is trying to decide if he should risk playing a mean game of basketball. We saw a little blood while playing. Hopefully Greg your nose is feeling better!! Maybe next time you won't wear glasses!

Little T is trying to play basketball but he mostly did what he does best.... be our annoying little brother!! Its rough being the youngest of 10 kids!! Wait he gets away with a lot more than we ever did!! But how can anyone resist his monkey ears and big brown eyes, they are just to cute!

The top two stories of the reunion are.....

Drum roll please.......

1- all the men decided to go on the 3 man slip n slide. It was very eventful! I'm not sure what the best was... Tyler eating grass and jumpin on the slide or my dad looking like he had a heart attak

The second top story is.....

Tyler breaking his foot!! Now it was really fun at the time but today its not to funny. He got surgery on it and it was a really bad break. He had to get 5 screws in it. The Dr said he would have been better to break his ankle than what he broke. So it now looks like it will be along recovery. It was a good laugh and topped off our nice weekend together as a family.

If you want to see pictures, which really don't do the swollen foot justice go to

http://gregnmeg6.blogspot.com/ My sister posted some pictures. We had to take pictures before we took him to the emergency room. I actually got pictures of his foot before they took him into surgery so I will have to post them later.

It always seems that each year our reunions get a little better with great memories and great stories. We had a great time seeing both our families.

First stop in Idaho

Trent is trying to put his schooling to use by working on Tylers elbow!

To start off our two week vacation we headed to Boise to Ty's parents house. There we saw his sister and her family and his brother and his family. We swam, swam and ty and Trent got their yearly workout by playing basketball.

All the Kids loved playing together. We had a great time at the first stop in Idaho!
