Lots of Beach Fun

For the past 3 weeks we have gone to the beach and we are in LOVE!!!
The first weekend we went with our neighbors to their beach house. They have a little house on this cute beach that not a lot of people go to. It has a little creek for the kids to play in and was so much fun! There is something about the beach that is so relaxing and soothing.

Here is our first weekend at the beach with our kids. They loved playing in the water and in the sand.

The second weekend Ty and I went to the beach for our anniversary. Ty's mom was so kind to fly in for the weekend and watch the kids. Finally after 9 years of marriage we got to leave the kids. I was very very nervous leaving them but they had a great time with Grandma.

We hiked up some sand dunes and the view was amazing. There were tides pool everywhere and we even saw a whale

I love the view when the sun is setting. We had such great weather all weekend while we were there. It was fun just walking on the beach and relaxing with out kids for a couple of days.

The next weekend we went to the beach with my parents but I will have to post on that tomorrow. I have to many pictures.

Last summer we didn't get to go to the beach at all since Tyler couldn't walk and this summer we are making up for it. Its been so fun living close enough that we can drive and have a fun day together as a family.

Overall fun

After visiting with my family for a couple weeks we went to Tylers family's house and stayed. All of his siblings were able to come home this year. It was so fun to see everyone and be all together.

I wasn't able to post pictures because I have a little boy that thinks everything can be thrown like a basketball and while at the spray park threw my camera right into the water!! Luckily i saved the card but not the camera.... Another post I guess..
But here are some of the highlights of the family reunion .....

We went bowling with the kids it was so fun. Ty and I were on the lane with the little kids that are 4 years old. They were so cute and loved bowling. I'm not sure why we don't go more.

the kids love to ride around on the 4-wheeler or Grandpas Harley. They have a little 4-wheeler that the kids can drive and they think they are in heaven when they get to drive it! Its pretty funny.

We swam everyday. The kids couldn't get enough of the water. Taylee learned to jump off the diving board and swim to the side. She really improved in her swimming and is now swimming all by herself.

.

We played a couple of fun games with everyone. One was shaving each others face with shaving cream and a stick. The kids thought this was funny. The adults were great sports!! Grandpa's head even got shaved. The kids loved putting cream everywhere!!!

We had such a great time with the Overall family. We both have such great families and after coming home we miss them so much and wish we could live closer to them. We were both blessed to have great parents and great siblings. We love u all and can't wait to see you again. Thanks for the fun time we had this summer.
To me its not about going to a big fancy place for a reunion. Its about being together as a family and trying to make the best of it and having fun together and building memories. This year our reunions were low key but full of fun. Which is just what I love..

More Kunz fun

While we were home we planned on taking some great pictures outside in the farm yard by our new horse barn but..... right as we started to take them it started raining like crazy so we took them inside!!

Here's our best family photo. For as many kids as we have I think it turned out pretty well.

We took a picture with my parents and each kid. I love these pictures.

Highlights of Kunz reunion

After being gone for about 3 weeks I am finally home and can show you the highlights of our trip. We got to go to my parents house for 2 weeks and then on to the Overalls house. We had such a great time with our families and we miss them already. Has it really only been 5 days since we left?!! It seems like forever ago. Trust me we did way to many things to post everything so this will be the first post of many of our trip.

The kids loved going outside and playing. Jackson's favorite thing was seeing all the animals and he was in heaven when he saw the horses. The kids couldn't get enough of the 4-wheelers, the trampoline, the horse rides, seeing the sheep get sheered, and going on evening walks.

We were lucky to be able to be there for one of our nephews baptism. All 9 kids were together for this. It was so nice of my sister to have it at my parents church so that we didn't have to travel so far to go to it. It was nice to be able to have all the kids see one of their cousins get baptized.

Another one of the highlights was renting a water slide. The kids and adults had a great time on it. I'm glad to say that no one got hurt although I was sure my brother-in-law was going to break something cause he was a little crazy on it!! This was so much fun that we are convinced that next year we must get a bigger one and bring on more sunshine.!!

Warning..... this pictures are really not how we act all the time and are a little out of control!!!

My family always has to do something that is crazy and off the wall. So this time as we got together we presented a girl with some medical problems with a WISH. So we gave her a show that I'm sure was worth lots of money. We had an announcer, two dorks in suits presented a check to her, Colt was a cow that got tipped over by our niece, Tyler did a hula for her and me.......
I was Hannah Montana and sang her The Best of Both Worlds!!!!

Here's my Hannah outfit with my hula dancer!!

This one was classic...... Doug and our "pretend adopted" sister(she got adopted from the Indian tribe when she was little), no really she didn't but she was a lot darker than my other 2 siblings so they use to tease her that she was adopted. Now we make a joke of it every time we go home. So this year we decided to have the chief (Doug) come and welcome her husband into the tribe. After that we had my sister give our friend, JR, an adoption paper into our family. He was Doug's college roommate and is a good friend of mine and so he has came to our reunion the last 2 years and now is part of the family!!! My family thinks he is funny and is glad that he joined us for some fun again this year. Welcome to the Kunz family JR!
We had a weekend full of fun and then we continued to do things like.... feed the fish, hiked Teton canyon, go to mesa falls, go on a 4-wheeler ride up in the mountains. Take lots and lots of pictures... I think on my disk I came home with 3500 pictures... but those were copied so really we only took 1750!! So I will have to post more pictures tomorrow....
We love u family and we had a great time together. We sure know how to drive my parents crazy and how to fit everything possible into 3-4 days. It was a mad house but it was a fun mad house.

Quick Family fun weekend

This past weekend I got to go home for a couple of days. One of my younger brothers graduated, so I left my family home and went to spend time in Idaho. My loving husband was so kind to stay home and "party" with the kids. So I flew in on Thursday and came home on Sunday and party every possible minute. It was so fun to be with my family. All 9 kids got to go home and be together. We so know how to party and my poor parents were ready for all of us to go home after the weekend!! Oh she is going to loose it when we all come home for a week in July!! This was just a test run for the summer!! So here are some highlights of our fun weekend.

We went on a 4-wheeler ride up in the mountains. I hadn't been on a ride in forever. So I drove like a mom...yes I drove with caution and slowly. It was so beautiful up in the mountains. I forgot how great the mountains are at home.

This was right before graduation. I have the best family ever. I love that we finally got a good picture!! When we all get together we have so much fun and we are out of control. We know how to party that is for sure. We had a great night together at graduation.

This is after graduation. We are glad that its over and that He finally graduated!!! We are so proud of our brother. I was so glad that we all got to be there for this great occasion.

It looks like this pictures is blurry but its not. Its snow!!! Yes I brought shorts and flip flops and it snows!!! So luckily my younger brother had clothes for me to borrow. I had to use their shoes and their jacket. Nothing like looking white trash when you go home, but luckily I didn't know very many people that saw me dressed like that!!
Thanks ma and pa for putting up with us and letting us keep you awake every night so late!! The first night I got there we stayed up until 3:30. As my brother was playing his trumpet I was really wishing that my parents wouldn't have let him take band when he was younger. Every night it was around 1 or later when we went to bed. So from our fun weekend I am totally beat!!
Hopefully I will recover before we go back up there in July. We're excited to go home for a couple of weeks. We always have way to much fun together!! Thanks family for the fun weekend and thanks Ty for taking care of the kids for me. You're all the best!!

Weekend full of fun!

This weekend we had Ty's parents in town. It was a lot of fun to see them. The kids loved playing with them. They came to see our oldest's dance performance. She did such a good job, even though it was so hot!! It was an outside performance. She looked 10 years older with her makeup and her uniform on. I was so proud of her. she was on beat just like we had worked on and tried so hard to remember everything that I worked on with her at home!! I do believe I will have a dancer in my family!!! Which yes I love....

Here is our beautiful dancer with her proud parents!!!

After the performance there was bungie jumping and the girls wanted to do it. I thought our youngest would freak out but she loved it and wanted to do it two times!!! When did she get so big?! All of a sudden she is starting to be so brave.

This is her jump after her performance. She tried doing flips but could only get over one time!

Since the grandparents had to leave us and go home.... ( if it was up to us and our kids they would stay with us forever, we love our families), we celebrated our youngest daughters b-day a little early. She was so excited to get a boise state cheerleading outfit! She loves her cheer skirt and does a cheer for my youngest brother Colt!! Go Colt!!! She wore it the rest of the night after she got it and then all today she wore it too!! She was kind enough to let her sister wear it for about 15 min!! That was about all she could handle!

Heres all of us after a fun weekend together. We went to the temple to walk around and see all the beautiful flowers. Our temple is surrounded by trees and more trees which makes it gorgeous. We had a great time with our parents and are so glad they came to see us. It was way to short and we can't wait to go and spend some time with them this summer!!!

Parties parties

I haven't posted in awhile because we have been having parties like crazy here!! The first one started with our preschool having a mothers day Tea party. I will have to post pictures of that later, but it was so much fun. We dressed up and had a great time with our 3 year olds!!

This week we have had 2 parties. My oldest had a b-day. So we partied all weekend.

The first one we had with our neighbors. Which by the way we have the best neighbors ever. It just so happens that one of our neighbors b-day is the same day so we had a big party for both of them. We let the kids play and then we had cake and ice cream!

She wanted a butterfly cake so we found a couple samples and her sister and I went to town decorating it. It was fun and turned out pretty cute.

Her favorite gift was her PINK golf clubs. We didn't give them to her until right before she went to bed. She was so excited!! She has been practicing in the living room and outside. Her uncle loves golf and she is so excited to hit golf balls with her uncle colt!!!

We then had a b-day party with some of her friends. We had 10 girls here. We had a cupcake party and decorated cupcakes. Luckily my neighbor has all these cute cupcake things that I borrowed. The girls decorated their cupcakes with frosting, m&m's, skittles, sprinkles, jolly ranchers, and lots of other candy! That was the highlight of the party.

There is her cupcake cake that I made. It is a bundt cake pan that is so cool. It is in 2 pieces, the top of the cupcake and the bottom. It was fun to make. We had to have pink everything if you couldn't tell.

Here is the b-day girl in the aprons that I made for all the little girls. I got plain white aprons and then sewed the ribbon and and ironed on the cupcake then hand stitched around the cupcake. They turned out so cute!! I was glad when they were all done!!
After the party I was exhausted but was so glad that I had a party for her cause it was so much fun!!!
Happy birthday to my sweet girl. She is so much fun in our family and really is a good good girl.
