Dear Grandma

This week was my sweet grandma's b-day. She was a Valentines baby. I think she was born on that day because she was so sweet. She was one of the kindest and sweest ladies. Last night for FHE we had my cousins over and had a dinner that she always made, (roast, potatoes, gravy, green jello with pears, rolls, and the famous chocolate roll for dessert). Then after eating we sat down and told our favorite memories of our sweet grandma.

One of my cousins told of how grandma was a very intellegent woman. She went to college which wasn't what most women did at that time. She had a degree but she chose the best thing in the world to do. She chose to serve other to have a family. She did everything for my grandpa and never complained.

She was a great example of christ like love to our family. I hope that I can teach my children what kind of grandma they had so that the legacy can live with in our family!

We love you grandma and can't wait until we get to see you again someday!

The other day we were in Target looking for a b-day present for a friend. The parties theme is no other than.....High School Musical...... My 5 year old couldn't find the presnet she wanted. But my 2 year old found the perfect doll that sang. She pushed the button and started singing.. I want Fabulous.. that is my simple request all things Fabulous...

It was so funny.. Then a lady said, " How do you know the words to that song you're to young"

I told her she had an older sister!

She then said, " She should get an award for the youngest girl to know all the words to that song."

So needless to say you know what we've been listening to since Christmas time.. Aren't we all so glad that Santa brought us a Karaoke machine and High school musical Music.. Now thats the girls favorite thing to do.. is sing sing sing at the top of their lungs...

They have learned to be real performers and it is so cute!

These are all my great friends from back east... Oh how I love them..They were our dear grandparents while we lived there. They took such good care of us. We would meet downstairs in our lobby at night and talk with them. They kept me company while Tyler was gone to classes all night. They were such a joy to talk to and loved to see how big the kids were getting. They loved watching the girls run back and forth in the lobby.
Today I got one of those phone calls that you wish you wouldn't have answered. It was my old manager, who by the way is the best ever, calling to tell me that one of our dear friends had passed away. My heart sank as she told me the news. She was so dear to us and loved my girls. They thought so much of her and loved to bring treats down to her to eat. She loved everything we always gave her. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will be forever changed because of the love and friendship that these dear people showed us...
We wish that we could fly to Dc to show our respects and show our graditude for her friendship. They are the best adopted grandparents ever!
We love you DC friends!

while we were home we had an ugly sweater party.. If you can't tell Tyler is wearing his Christmas sweater that he wears every year. He hasn't got the hint yet that just because its a GAP sweater from the 80's doesn't mean that its still in style! He thinks its the coolest sweater every! Hopefully one of these years he will retire it!

At christmas we blessed our sweet little boy. we were in Idaho at our parents house and we had most of Tylers family there and my parents and brothers got to be there. It was a special and fun day. He is our cute little boy and is such a good baby. He is starting to smile and loves to talk to us and laugh..

Finally blogging again

So finally after lots of craziness. I am blogging again... Don't expect this too much.. After searching all summer and thinking that we would never find a house... actually its that we couldn't decide on a house or yet we couldn't spend the money.. yes we are really cheap, I think thats what 7 years of schooling does to you! We finally bought a beautiful home! We are loving it.

The girls are loving that we have our own space for them to listen to their music as loud as they want and scream as loud as they want! They have a little play room off of their room and they love it!
It was a crazy day for us in Oct, we signed on our house that afternoon, that morning my parents picked up a car for us that we bought in Idaho, and that night we had our new little baby. Nothing like doing it all at once. I guess thats what we get for waiting until the last minute to do everything.
