Happy Birthday!!!

This week was our buddies birthday!!! We had a fun full couple of days. Luckily his wishes weren't to demanding...

Here is the great candle that got sent to him by G&G Kunz. It was a flower that sang Happy Birthday!!! and had lots of candles that made a lot of smoke and made the fire alarms go off. It was a hit the kids loved it and even the adults were dying laughing!!!

He wanted a 4-wheeler cake that was stuck in mud and he just wanted his toy 4-wheeler stuck on the cake. He loves 4-wheelers its his favorite thing to do at both grandparents!

Because we live in the city and can't have a real 4-wheeler we had to get a remote control one to make him happy!! It was the only present he asked for!! Luckily it was a cheap present and we've already had to change the batteries in it. I think I should have bought 2 so I had a back up one when this one breaks!!

When I asked him what he wanted to do on his b-day he brought me money and said,
"Go to the Froggy Playground" Which I had no idea what he was talking about. Then he said he wanted to ride the rides with money. Then I knew he wanted to go the mall and ride on the quarter rides!! So that was our afternoon outing... We went to the mall for an hour.

The morning of his birthday we went to a fun pumpkin patch and they got to play in the hay maze.

Here we are out in the pumpkin patch trying to pick out our fun big pumpkins!!!

Sorry these pictures our out of order. But... his favorite thing we did was....
Ride the tractor at the farm. He LOVES the tractor at Grandpa's house. He could ride in it all day long. So we had to find the closest thing to Grandpas tractor and luckily we have pumpkin patches!!! he was in Heaven....
We had a great couple of days.. I can't believe that he is 3 years old. Happy Birthday Buddy!!

Highlights from our summer fun

We got to go camping this summer and LOVED it!! We only stayed one night and the kids had a great time. We were in a great location and were with great friends. We ate dinner there, let the kids play, and we chatted and learned how to make woofums. If you don't know how buy some biscuit dough and put on a cork and cook it over the fire... So they turn out to be little cups and garnish with berries and cool whip. They are so good!!
Here the girls and Ty had just got back from a little walk.
She was so glad that she got to stay up way past her bedtime!!

We also went to a track meet that our school put on once a week for the community. The kids had a blast. We wish we would have went every week.... next year I guess...
The girls are totally different. T can run fast and short distance. Ad can run long distance and our little man..... he just loved running.

He talked about this track meet all summer. The first race he didn't really know what he was doing. The second race which was a 200 yd race he did awesome!! he got first for his age and ran like crazy.... He was so funny and is our little athlete.

Add lost her 1st tooth. She's not even in Kindergarten yet and lost one. She was eating a rice cake and it popped out!! She was so excited and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy!

We were able to take swimming lessons for 2 weeks. I got to do a mommy n me class and the girls got to take lessons after we were done. It was a great 2 weeks we had good weather most of the 2 weeks!
We are trying to fit everything in possbile this summer! So far its been a great summer.

Last part of Trip

The last part of our trip we went to the Overalls. It was fun to see most of Tylers siblings. We had a great time together. Here are the highlights of our stay.
We got to do lots of swimming and the girls got a little braver. Tay was jumping off the diving board and Add was swimming with a life jacket and so was J. They were little fish by the time we left. We missed having a swimming pool right in the back yard.

They have the best BBQ pit ever. The kids love roasting marshmallows whenever we are there.

We went to a spray park while we were there. It was on a hot hot day so we didn't last very long. We played in the water and then went and got some yummy yogurt.

Here are some of the grand kids at the spray park. The kids all got along so well and loved playing together. We had a great time. We played Just Dance till we were all sore. We ate lots of food and the one of the last nights we pulled out some old stuff of my sister in laws when she was young. My favorite was the old barbies and also all the cow decorations that she use to decorate her room with. I got to come home with two fun cow wind charms!! We had lots of great laughs together and great times!!

More Idaho Fun

'

We can't go home without going on a fun hike. My parents live in such a beautiful area that I love to take the kids up in the mountains. So one morning we went on a 15 min hike and then had lunch. It was the perfect length for the kids. This year I even let them put their feet in the water!

We found this great big flat rock to sit on while we ate our lunch. It was in the shade, had ants crawling on it and had a tree growing sideways that was laying on it!!

This year Miss T was brave and tried milk straight from the cow warm and all!! I'm suprised she still is drinking milk after that. She did pull a great face after she tried it.

The kids love taking walks around the farm. Here they got up on the fence to see the sheep and it scared the poor sheep to death. They all ran inside the shed so my dad had to go in and get them out so the kids could see them!! I love this picture! Notice my nephew in pink sweats to the right. Those sweats have been well used over the years!! That is what we use to wear to the barn to go feed calves.... Pink sweats are the best!!!

Here is proof that all my kids went inside the stinky and poopy barn. As you can tell "J" keep saying ohh it stinks like cow poop!! and yes he was right. It did smell but its so good for my city kids to smell that every year!

Here "T' is taking her turn milking the cow. she was very nervous at first and then after her boy cousin did it she thought she better try too!! She was pretty proud when she got milk to come out! It is harder then everyone thinks!

It wouldn't be a Kunz reunion without pictures. After having my Dad move the trailer a couple of time we finally got it ready and then the lighting was bad but at least we got a cute picture! Look how big my family is and I must say everytime we get together we know how to have a lot of fun!!! I have a great family!

More of our trip.

Here are some more highlights of our trip home....

Mom had a great idea this year, to put together humanitarian packets. So each of us brought some supplies and then we all put them together to make a couple packets. The kids had a great time doing this.

This is after the parade. Dad's old tractor and trailer was in the parade so when he got it home we of course all had to ride on it!!!
After the parade we were driving home and I look over and there is my Dad driving down the old highway about 15 miles an hour if that.... on his bouncy seat old tractor. It was so cute so we turned off and waited and waited for Dad to come by so we could wave and take a picture!

Here's my boys during the parade. It was so nice to have Ty with us for the weekend. he came right at the last minute. He has been working so hard that it was a good break for him and for us!

This picture I missed the exciting part but.... my brother in law started climbing up the ladder and lost his grip and fell down with his son right behind him. I've never seen his son move so fast out of the way. He jumped off that ladder pretty fast!

In the morning it was cold so Dad got a hose from the barn and ran warm water onto the slide.
In the afternoon it was the perfect temperature.

Heres my big daddy going down the slide. After going I'm not sure he could walk the rest of the week because of his bad hip but..... he wasn't about to miss the fun!

Even my mama decided to make a run for it!! It was so funny. We love when my mom gets laughing cause then we all start laughing.

The girls had so much fun on the slide. It was a hit this year!
Thanks mom n dad for the fun day!

Little buddy was loving it there too. They had a blow up bounce basketball hoop. He couldn't get enough of it!

Trip Home

We had a great time going home and I have way to many pictures so I thought I would highlight a couple of things.....

The kids loved feeing the horse oats. T started laughing so hard cause it tickled her hand.

4-wheeler rides is also a big hit. Luckily we have a couple roads that lead to our fields that we can take the kids on a ride down. Thats the best part of living in the country we ride 4-wheelers on the roads.

We got the kids to go out and feed the baby calves. This calf is only a couple of days old. I think i didn't realize how lucky I was to live on a farm.

We went on lots of walk down to the barnyard to see the animals and to smell that fresh air. My favorite was every time we went outside my little boy would say, "eww it smells like cow poop."
Yes I have city kids for sure!!!
this is just the start so I will have to post more when I get down going through all my pictures!
