More canning!!

What Have I been up to? A little canning or lets say a lot of canning. After doing peaches and pears now I decided to do salsa and tomatoes. While picking up my tomatoes I saw corn and wanted to freeze it so I bought a box of that! Now after my second day canning I'm wondering what I was thinking!!!
So corn is done!! one batch of salsa done! 21 jars of stewed tomatoes done! and......
2 tired feet and still more to do!!
But I've had a lot of fun.... My friend wanted me to teach her how to do salsa so I made her do corn and stewed tomatoes with me! She has been great help and it was fun to teach her how to make my moms best canned salsa! There is nothing like smelling like salsa for days.
When my mom use to can salsa I hated going to school cause I smelled like it for days. No need for perfume when u smell like salsa right!!

Another fun beach trip!

Last weekend Ty's parents and brother's family came into town. We went to the beach to celebrate his Dad's b-day! It was so fun. The men took the kids crabbing! When I asked my 4 year old if she had a good time she said, " Ya we just sat in the boat, i got really cold." But then she told me more stories about having to throw the small crabs back in the water, having a dog bark at them and them not wanting the dog to bite them and other small and funny details! She did have a good time and it was fun for her.
We went to the beach and play in the sand and water. We played games which we LOVE to do!!! The kids loved playing with their cousins, watched movies and loved spending time with G&G.

We of course had to eat cake and ice cream to celebrate the birthday!!

Here's G&G at the beach. it was a beautiful beach and we love going to different beaches to see how beautiful the coast is.

our little boy loves the beach cause he can run free!!! He doesn't like the water so much...... It scares him but loves playing in the sand.

I love this picture. Tay loves helping her little brother. I told them to stand up the rock/ dirt to take a picture. he wants to do whatever his sisters do and love them! Its so cute!

We buried the girls and made mermaids out of them. At first they didn't think it was a good idea but then thought it was fun after we got them in the sand.

Thanks G&G for the fun time!! We love the beach and are up for going with anyone. It was a fun weekend and we didn't want to leave to go home.

First Day of School

Our Great Summer has ended and we are back into the swing of things. We tried hard to get everything in that we could and it was a great summer!! Lots better than last year ( this year we had a dad that could do things instead of lay on the couch with a broken foot!)
This morning we woke to a cold house and realized fall is coming....
Which means its time to start school!!!
I can't believe I have a 2nd grader and a pre-schooler!





















Here they are excited for their first day of school. They had a great time and when asked how their day was they both said," Awesome"! I'm so glad that they had a great time and that they like school.

Now the next picture is classic!! (It actually wasn't today but you get the idea.....)

Here is buddy.. He got a new outfit for my brothers wedding and lets just say... He wasn't happy to try it on!!! So this is for you Burke... He might be screaming the whole weekend when he has to wear it but he will be so cute!!

I put this picture on cause we ran errands once the girls were at school then we came home and he kept running around the house calling for his sisters. He wasn't happy when they weren't here. He did have fun playing with me for awhile... He loves loves his sisters. Hopefully we can do some fun things until his sisters get home from school.

Loved Family Time!

My parents and brothers got to come and see us a couple of weeks ago. It was so fun to show them where we live. The girls were in heaven while they were here. Three boys to bug (which they love to tease), Granny to read them a story everynight before bed. Jackson had a non-stop play mate with basketball and loved learning to say my brothers name. Grandpa followed him everywhere so he went on some fun adventures with him!
Here are some highlights of the week of fun!

Since we live so close to the temple. We had to take them there and walk around it. It is such a beautiful temple. We didn't get to enjoy it as we would have liked to since buddy decided to have a melt down since he was so hungry!!!

Here we are at 6:30 am. Out looking at the tide pools and for shells. It was so pretty and cold that early in the morning. We did get to see lots of star fish and tide pools which was worth getting up that early!
















The day we went to the beach it was freezing! But the kids still had so much fun. The boys tried body surfing and boogie boarding. We played in the water and the sand. We had a great time cause the beach is so beautiful and peaceful.




















Here is some of the waterfall that we drove 1 1/2 hrs (a long long time) to go and see. I didn't realize it was that far away and it seemed like forever!!! Once we got there it was so beautiful. We hiked down and went underneath.

When they left Taylee said, " Now what are we going to do since G&G aren't here!" She was right the girls were bored for a couple of days without visitors.

We are excited to see them in October for a weekend.

Lots of Beach Fun

For the past 3 weeks we have gone to the beach and we are in LOVE!!!
The first weekend we went with our neighbors to their beach house. They have a little house on this cute beach that not a lot of people go to. It has a little creek for the kids to play in and was so much fun! There is something about the beach that is so relaxing and soothing.


















Here is our first weekend at the beach with our kids. They loved playing in the water and in the sand.












The second weekend Ty and I went to the beach for our anniversary. Ty's mom was so kind to fly in for the weekend and watch the kids. Finally after 9 years of marriage we got to leave the kids. I was very very nervous leaving them but they had a great time with Grandma.

We hiked up some sand dunes and the view was amazing. There were tides pool everywhere and we even saw a whale















I love the view when the sun is setting. We had such great weather all weekend while we were there. It was fun just walking on the beach and relaxing with out kids for a couple of days.

The next weekend we went to the beach with my parents but I will have to post on that tomorrow. I have to many pictures.

Last summer we didn't get to go to the beach at all since Tyler couldn't walk and this summer we are making up for it. Its been so fun living close enough that we can drive and have a fun day together as a family.

Overall fun

After visiting with my family for a couple weeks we went to Tylers family's house and stayed. All of his siblings were able to come home this year. It was so fun to see everyone and be all together.

I wasn't able to post pictures because I have a little boy that thinks everything can be thrown like a basketball and while at the spray park threw my camera right into the water!! Luckily i saved the card but not the camera.... Another post I guess..
But here are some of the highlights of the family reunion .....

We went bowling with the kids it was so fun. Ty and I were on the lane with the little kids that are 4 years old. They were so cute and loved bowling. I'm not sure why we don't go more.

the kids love to ride around on the 4-wheeler or Grandpas Harley. They have a little 4-wheeler that the kids can drive and they think they are in heaven when they get to drive it! Its pretty funny.















We swam everyday. The kids couldn't get enough of the water. Taylee learned to jump off the diving board and swim to the side. She really improved in her swimming and is now swimming all by herself.

.

We played a couple of fun games with everyone. One was shaving each others face with shaving cream and a stick. The kids thought this was funny. The adults were great sports!! Grandpa's head even got shaved. The kids loved putting cream everywhere!!!

We had such a great time with the Overall family. We both have such great families and after coming home we miss them so much and wish we could live closer to them. We were both blessed to have great parents and great siblings. We love u all and can't wait to see you again. Thanks for the fun time we had this summer.

To me its not about going to a big fancy place for a reunion. Its about being together as a family and trying to make the best of it and having fun together and building memories. This year our reunions were low key but full of fun. Which is just what I love..

More Kunz fun

While we were home we planned on taking some great pictures outside in the farm yard by our new horse barn but..... right as we started to take them it started raining like crazy so we took them inside!!
